Cost Estimates
Cost estimates are free unless preliminary work is required to assess the damage. If the device is not powering on, is unresponsive, or requires troubleshooting due to issues such as water damage, battery or capacitor leakage, impact/shock, or servicing beyond standard mechanical wear components (e.g., pinch rollers or belts)—such as mechanisms with hardened grease requiring disassembly and cleaning—a €220 diagnostic fee will apply.
This fee covers the labour required for diagnosis and assessment when faults are not immediately visible and further investigation is necessary. Any parts required during the diagnostic process to restore basic functionality or enable proper testing will be charged separately. This may include, for example, replacement belts, pinch rollers, gears, capacitors, or other components found to be necessary for the assessment.
If the device is repairable and you choose to proceed with the repair, the €220 diagnostic fee will be deducted from the total repair cost. Any parts used during the diagnostic process will remain chargeable and will be included in the final repair cost.
If the device is not repairable, or you choose not to proceed with the repair for any reason, the €220 diagnostic fee, together with the cost of any parts used during the diagnostic process, will remain payable.
